oof. Dang... I never would've guessed he was, but now I can't honestly say I'm surprised. :( "Jussie Smollett was born in Santa Rosa, California, and is the third of six children born to Janet (née Harris) and Joel Smollett.[5] He has three brothers and two sisters: Jake, Jocqui, Jojo, Jurnee, and Jazz, several of whom are also actors.[6] His father was Jewish (his family emigrated from Russia and Poland). His mother is African-American.[7] Jussie Smollett graduated from Paramus Catholic High School in Paramus, NJ.[citation needed]" "Jussie's credibility is irrelevant at this point." Um, he's the one who claimed the incident happened at all. His credibility is far from irrelevant. You're saying if it turns out that he lied about being on the phone with his manager (who claimed to have heard "MAGA" over the phone), that that would be completely irrelevant? Get real lol. That's not exactly running through things with a fine-toothed comb. That's just avoiding a gut emotional reaction to a headline, and not automatically believing anything anyone says when there is no evidence. Trump should be revealed whenever he says something false, as well as anyone with influence (or anyone at all, really). I'm not a Trump supporter, if that's what you're getting at. Nothing to do with the case? If he did allow them to verify, his story would be more credible. So what reason did he have to refuse? His manager deleted the Tweet claiming he was on the phone with Jussie after the camera footage came out which shows that Jussie wasn't on the phone. "Why bother with fabricating the noose evidence?" Because of the desire to inherently correlate "MAGA" with racism. Same with the claim about the: Bleach, racial slur, homophobic slur, and them conveniently shouting "MAGA COUNTRY!" Only opportunity Jussie missed was to claim that they beat him up with a Bible. It's desperation after the massive Covington failure, where the full video came out showing that the kids were actually the only innocent party involved. What do you mean "No holes"? This entire story is literally his word. You call that "No holes"? Um. He probably meant the two guys in the camera frame. (who were actually walking away from Jussie on the other side of the street, and Jussie was walking away from them) Here they are: https://cdn20.patchcdn.com/users/22942932/20190130/090353/styles/T800x600/public/processed_images/smollett1-1548900073-9264.jpg Homeless or not, they don't look to me like white MAGA hat guys. They appear to be African-American. They're not just -the- emergency services, they're -your- emergency services. Get real. Lynch means to hang someone by the neck, killing them. Let's not perpetuate the stereotype that the left exaggerates and uses words incorrectly, okay? In this case, "lynching" is a massive exaggeration if the event occurred at all, but more importantly it's very likely a hoax. Street cameras showed him walking off-camera for 45 seconds (while NOT on the phone), and then walking (read: WALKING) back into camera (while NOT on the phone) with the shoelace around his neck like a necklace. No attack was seen in an area that is heavily monitored. Jussie claimed he was "on the phone with his manager" while the attack occurred. The manager claimed he heard (over the phone) the attackers shout MAGA. He has since DELETED that tweet. Why might that be? Maybe because the video footage came out showing that the guy was not on his phone before or after the supposed attack? Do you believe that Jussie walked off camera, called his manager the moment he went off frame, was immediately attacked, beaten up, bleached, noosed, then he put his phone away, stood up, and casually walked back into camera again -- All within 45 seconds? Do you think that's likely? And someone could also say why are so many people obsessed with demonizing MAGA? No Trump voter would ever even say "This is MAGA country" ... especially in Chicago. That phrase sounds like something that far-leftists believe that a Trump voter would say. This incident is so far-fetched that you'd have to already have a lot of bias to believe what MSM feeds you. A lot of these "news stories" lately are Rorschach tests. View all replies >
