I agree, but then again most of my favorite Beatles songs would not by any means, be considered amongst their most well known or mainstream. I like We Can Work it Out, Help, She's So Heavy, etc. Yesterday is very sweet though... Well said. He’s definitely on the spectrum....of something. He also seems to be a compulsive liar. Where he’s from, his age, relationships, etc. everything out of his mouth is strangely false. If sounds like Narcissism or Borderline Personality Disorder. After watching The Disaster Artist, it’s clear that this movie represents his life Poor Tommy. He’s so good to everyone, He’s the florists favorite customer, pays Denny’s tuition; is fiercely loyal to Mark and Lisaso. So many friends. Then everyone betrays him and It’s always everyone elae’s Fault: Classic Narcissism This is the genius of Tommy Wisseau. No one knows for certainty the answer to this question. He made this film to make us all think about these questions. Questions far too deep to be answered simply with a ‘yes’ or ‘no’. I’ve watched this 30 times and can come up with a different answer each time as to whether Lisa understannds life. That’s the beauty of good art. Lisa, to me, is what Fredo is in The Godfather. There are Layers to their personalities that the viewer isn’t meant to see He realized what a colossal cluster flick he was a part of and went ‘full retard’. I’m pretty sure everyone involved in this thing assumed the film would not be seen by anyone. I’m just not sure what you are referring to when you talk about “the boys having the stones to approac her in the movie”. No one approached her. She pursued Matthew all the way until she left for Vegas. I think one of the things that’s so attractive about her character is the fact that she was the dominant aggression in the relationship for the first half of the movie becoming much more passive and submissive in the 2nd half. The best of both worlds. . And to Elisha Cuthbert’s credit, she played that aggressive pursuer role perfectly and in a super sexy way. I appreciate your response and agree with your review for the most part. If you don’t mind me asking, are you male or female? I’m curious based on your thoughts about Elisha Cuthbert being normal looking and so many being better in real life. Obviously based on all the posts from men galore gushing over her, I’m not the only one that finds her much more than normal. I’ve tried to pin point what it is about her in this film that just sends me to another planet and it’s difficult to describe. I do think her eyes and eyebrows are unbelievably sexy and not normal at all. And the way she looks at him with those eyes is incredibly seductive. I will say that she doesn’t stand out to me as much present day and I can maybe see the normal thing now, but in this era (2003-2008 or so) she was the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen and I’m thankful we have this movie to show her in her absolute prime. I’m just pissed at Hollywood for not casting her on much else worth while Elisha Cuthbert is still a very attractive and beautiful woman. What she has going against her are the inevitable comparisons to the Elisha Cuthbert in The Girl Next Door or at age 22. She was just so ridiculously super hot in that movie and during that era. People are going to watch that movie and compare. It's a little sad but it's just the way it is in Hollywood and women should be aware of that going in. If they can’t deal, then don’t go into that works. She came on so strong so fast and so young. What kind of post is this? Complete garbage It almost reeks of someone that knows her or with a vendetta against her. It’s so easy to anonymously go on a forum like this and put something random and without any merit out there. It’s so negative about her and just gets this idea in peoples heads. It should be deleted. there’s no forum moderator? I kind of know what you mean in a way. Part of what made her so damn hot and appealing was that there really seemed to be a concentrated effort behind the scenes to make her as appealing as possible in every scene. I noticed she does this super sexy thing with her tongue in a lot of the scenes where you can see her tongue sneak out between her teeth just a tad. That was obviously intentional and not Elisha just being natural or anything. It’s the model in her coming out. Watch the early scene is the restaurant and you really see it All that being said, i imagine it wasn’t an especially difficult task to mke her look so good LOL. Elisha Cushbert was such a freaking knockout at this point of her career. That combined with the creation of such an appealing character and Elisha Cushbert’s natural charisma and I agree completely with the OP. And it’s amazing how well it holds up 15 years later totally agree. its amazing View all replies >
