You're right of course! It doesn't feel like '85 :) Be gone with you! The 80s gave you far more than you realise. For starters it heralded the birth of electronic music, the personal computer, CD's, a thriving film industry that wasn't afraid to take risks, an eclectic music scene with many different genres of music. Give me the 80's any day. What we have now is a pathetically timid music scene, there is no individualism despite so called 'pop stars' claiming to celebrate the individual and to 'go your own way' yet they all sound the same, they all rearrange the same old song and life in general is way more pressurised and don't get me started on the political landscape! I think it's an almost seamless continuation, I'm on episode 4 and loving every minute. That said it's got a darker feel than the previous two seasons and the pacing is tight. Visually it's bright and punchy. I guess my only gripe is that although it's set in 1984 it doesn't feel like 1984.
