I don't think the Americans and Canadians give a hoot. ๐คฃ I don't mind that Australia and Israel are in it. I'm just wondering on what grounds they are? Surely it can't be geography. ๐ค Cultural/ancestral ties to Europe? So do the US and Canada have. Then you might as well throw in the Latin American countries too for measure.

The point is that one can find it from a retconning perspective sort of silly how Vader calls Obi-Wan old man in Star Wars (1978) when he isn't that much younger than Obi-Wan himself by 16 years. But yeah, I guess one must also take appearance into consideration and Obi-Wan (Alec Guinness) did look to be about the age of a biblical patriarch.
Hair gets lighter when you are in the sun (so medium brown hair can become light brown, my hair is naturally light brown and I can look dark-haired indoors and blond outdoors), and some people consider light brown to be blond.
