The opening scene at the cemetery kind of hits close to home. Jimmy Stewart's disembodied head in the green void. New Teacher is one of my least favorite episodes. Sarah is really annoying Korra was extremely unlikable in Season 2 Tom Sawyer cartoon and the episode about slavery... That moment where they meet adult Alex in the present is a great scene. That subtitute teacher was... The Morning Report (Song) What are some things you didn't like about this movie? *spoiler warning* View all posts >

The bullying stuff was so over-the-top. I remember sitting there in the cinema just rolling my eyes, lol. You said it perfectly. I enjoyed the movie, but I completely agree with you about how cheesy the ending scene was with the girl surviving. You describing it as a "bad TV soap opera" is pretty accurate lol. For me, the lighting and vibe of that scene actually reminded me of a few foreign sappy melodramatic Korean commercials I've seen on YouTube, lol. I'm not even kidding. That guy is Lex Luthor in name only. Talk about completely butchering a comic book character, lol. They turned him into some roided up, meat off the bone munching prison tough guy. What a joke. The animation is fantastic, but yeah...the writing and characters needed some work. The show has its moments for sure, but I couldn't really get into it and I found a lot of episodes a chore to sit through. It always annoyed me how the show was so ambiguous about Robin's identity as Dick Grayson. Like they kept teasing it. I recently just watched it for the first time. The movie felt like some kind of Harriett Tubman fan-fiction, lol. I don't think the movie was absolutely terrible, but...something about it seemed off. It's one of those movies that just make me roll my eyes and say - "Come on! You can make a better movie than this!" I didn't think the movie was that bad, but some parts seriously made me roll my eyes. Also, I really don't like what they did with the character of Van Pelt. In the original Jumanji, he was this badass big game hunter who there was no escape from. In this movie he was...some kind of hissing Slender Man knockoff? lol. Like, why even include him? He could have been named something else and no one would even know that character is supposed to be Van Pelt. Overall, I don't think the movie is bad, but I'm not quite as crazy about it as most people are and some of the humor was REALLY stupid. At least the movie isn't as mind-numbingly braindead as Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom, lol. I'll give it that much credit. "Based on the super stellar reviews, I wouldn't want to be THAT guy to give it the 1st bad review cause Twitter, er, I mean "X" would crucify you for it right down to the Subtitles" Yep, pretty much. And it's not just Twitter, but Reddit as well, etc. When it comes to popular and well liked movies/TV/games, if you dare to criticize it (even if those criticisms are legit), you'll get told 100 reasons why your opinion is wrong and that you should feel like the scum of the Earth. I remember a friend of mine going on Twitter and talking about why she didn't like Kingdom Hearts 3. She never said it was the worst game ever, just that she had some problems with the story and worlds. People got *so* mad and roasted her like a turkey on Thanksgiving, lol. Like, just calm down. Seriously? Are you honestly for real? Yikes. Yeah, just forget it. I'm done here. The above post(s) from you are a perfect example of the mind-numbing, brain-dead, goblin shark levels of retardation that drove me away from the original Internet Movie Database Message Boards in the first place.
