Why do women not like the horror genre

Plenty of women like the horror genre including gory movies.

CG gore is the worst thing that has ever happened to the horror genre.

I think it depends on the woman. I'm sure there are many female horror fans just as there are many who hate it. Some men dislike the horror genre as well. I guess everyone has their own personal taste and things they like and dislike. Gender has nothing to do with it.

well I'll tell you one thing buddy. Indian women don't like it.

Can you provide a link to a reputable study supporting that assertion? Not disagreeing with you, but a statement like that needs proof.

I thought many women liked horror movies. My mom didn't, but a woman she grew up with did.
