I don't get why that is a terrible comment though. She's complaining about some stupid sexist tradition of Xmas decorating the White House which she clearly hates. She didn't say anything against the children.

And good thing they did when that whistleblower spoke truth. Witness after Witness after Witness from the State Department testified in the impeachment hearings of knowing full well of Trump's ploy as described by the whistleblower. It was never a secret. Trump did exactly what he was accused of. He tried to extort the Ukraine president into manufacturing dirt on Biden by withholding congressional approved aid money.
Just because Republicans refused to convict doesn't mean your idol is not guilty when multiple smoking guns provided by the whistleblower were available more or less on DAY 1.
Democrats could never compel Republicans to protect the constitution or admit what they knew President Trump had done. Democrats could only put Republicans to their test and show them fail. And that is exactly what happened.
The fact that you thought bringing up the whistleblower actually makes your side look good demonstrates just how far gone your fake news bubble actually is that they've convinced you up is down. Hint: It's not. The whisteblower has been vindicated over and over again by sworn testimony of career public servants.
