The prominent Palestinian activist Ahed Tamimi has been arrested by Israeli forces in the occupied West Bank.

Ms Tamimi, 22, was detained overnight in the village of Nabi Saleh, the Palestinian Prisoners' Society said.

Israel's military told AFP news agency she was suspected of "inciting violence and terrorist activities".

Israeli media reported that Ms Tamimi was arrested in connection with a post on Instagram that threatened to "slaughter" Jewish settlers.

Imagine if there were actually man made climate change that was going to destroy all life in the 5 years for the next 100 years. There would be an overwhelming amount of evidence. There is none. Just hypothesis and conjecture and fear mongering.

So we’re left with their primary sales people being ignorant autistic children.

Now we have Hamas. Democrats itching to come to their defense. Hamas proudly brags about October 7th, celebrates the rape, murder, burning alive of innocent women and babies. Their supporters answer, it didn’t happen! Israel reeeeee!

It’s pretty sad.

It would be enough to say "burned bodies" but you had to go the extra mile to say they were alive, which you couldn't possibly determine.

I did see a pile of burned something-or-other they tried to say was a baby... but there was no identifiable shape to it. Could've been a burnt jacket for all I know. Israeli government are willing to lie about absolutely anything, and petty morons will regurgitate it without question. I don't know why you can't just stick to what's verifiable. It's almost like your only goal is to dehumanize the "other side" by any means possible.

Hmmm... after some google searching, I rate this claim "plausible". Still, burning women and children with bombs isn't less evil. Not really buying the rape claims, but it wouldn't be the first time an invading army did that, so I'll reserve judgment.

"Plausible"?! What do you mean "plausible"? That's how many of the Israelis were killed. They locked themselves in safe rooms and the Hamas attackers couldn't get to them so they set the houses on fire. How else do you think the Israelis in such circumstances could have died?

What on earth would lead you to "not really buy" the rape claims? Captured Hamas attackers admitted they were told to commit rape. There's eyewitness testimony to the rapes. It's completely normal for bloodthirsty terrorists to commit rape in the middle of a massive attack. With all the other horrible things done by the attackers to their Israeli victims why would you even start to question whether they also committed rape? The notion that the attackers did NOT commit rape is what's really hard to buy.

Well, my first impulse in a coordinated attack wouldn't be to start raping random women, particularly if I was a religious zealot. Saying they were TOLD to rape sounds pretty far fetched.

And who knows what was promised or threatened to the captured attackers, assuming those are even real. Nothing would surprise me at this point, except maybe that they were necrophiliacs. xD

Really? Your "first impulse" in a coordinated terrorist attack? *YOUR* first impulse? You say that as if you have some sort of experience with such things, which I take it for granted you don't. Why are you being so absurd as to tell me what your first impulse would be if you were with people you can't relate to in a situation you can't relate to?

It's that much more ridiculous because you talk as if this attack had some sort of specific *strategic* objective that could have been threatened by any of the attackers committing rape. You seem to forget that the only objective of this attack was mayhem and terror. Rape not only went along perfectly with the objective but was an integral part of it. And why would religious zealots want to avoid rape? You say that as if it's uncommon for jihadists to rape infidel women, which I assure you it's not. It only sounds "pretty far fetched" if you're ignorant of the norms of jihadist behavior.

Why wouldn't you assume that the captured Hamas attackers are real? Over 2,000 terrorists came into Israel from Gaza during the attack. Why would you assume that literally all of them were either killed by the Israelis or successfully returned to Gaza? And why are you still questioning whether there was rape after I already told you there was eyewitness testimony to it?

Clearly they had an objective, which is ongoing. Defeat colonizers, kidnap and ransom, get media attention, win public perception. Your idea that the leaders are just morons doesn't align with reality.

I never said that the leaders of Hamas "are just morons". Where the hell did you get the idea I said that? I assume that your use of the phrase "Defeat colonizers" is code for the complete destruction of Israel, which is clearly a long-term goal. This attack by itself clearly couldn't have achieved that goal all on its own. The more general immediate objective of the attack was clearly to cause mayhem and terror, a goal clearly furthered by rape.

I can't believe you're so cynical that you would refuse to believe all Israeli eyewitness testimony that the terrorists committed rape just because it comes from Israelis. You're just being completely ridiculous. Do you have any specific reason not to believe that testimony? I've already debunked so many of your excuses for not believing there was rape. Do you have any other reasons that you haven't brought up yet for not believing there was rape?

My default position isn't to form beliefs based on hearsay. There's a reason no one needed to convince me ISIS tortured and beheaded people, or sold sex slaves. They proudly displayed it. It's a pretty underwhelming terrorist who can't even show me a Mortal Kombat fatality. Even Israel bombing aftermath is more graphic than these Hamas videos.

This isn't hearsay. I'm talking about eyewitness testimony. Do you realize how bizarre it is to say you don't believe Hamas would go so far as to rape anyone after they just massacred over a thousand people? As if these terrorists have some sort of strict moral code. Or even any moral code at all. After everything else that happened it's completely absurd to not accept the accusation of rape at face value.

Your default position always seems to be anti-Israel. Saying you don't "believe all Zionists" indicates an anti-Israel bias. Why do you refer to the survivors of this attack who provided the eyewitness testimony as 'Zionists' instead of Israelis? You're too prejudiced against Israelis to be able to fairly judge the credibility of their eyewitness testimony to the rapes that they saw. Your refusal to believe them says a lot more about you than it does about them.

Over 10,000 Palestinians killed. Forget thousands, do you honestly believe hundreds of Hamas soldiers were killed in that? Israel is reporting something like 40 killed.

Hamas also said 100s were killed in that hospital attack weeks ago. Claimed it was missle from Israel, actually was from Islamic State in Gaza. Never any pictures of the bodies, just an empty parking lot with burns from rocket fuel.

We assumed the rocket was Israel because Hamas always owns up to their actions. They said it wasn't them, so the news reported it as an Israeli rocket. Israel said it wasn't them, so that pretty much left the Palestinian Islamic Jihad. It's still not confirmed, but that's the best guess.

You assume Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad know exactly what each other is doing, but they don't.

Funny thing though. All outlets are agreeing with the 10,000 figure. But the 1,400 killed in Israel has been clarified to be closer to 1,200.
