Greatest Comedy Movie ever...

The first one that came to my mind is the original Pink Panther. Probably not sophisticated enough for today's audiences.

1) Fun prince and the pauper story.
2) Keen questions about class, race and gender are brought up.
3) Highly quotable.
4) Some great cameos within an already brilliant cast.
5) Perfect for Christmas viewing.
6) Possibly the greatest soundtrack ever.
7) Jamie Lee Curtis' tatas.

Dr Strangelove - who thought nuclear annihilation could be so funny.

Superbad

It's not only absolutely hilarious its also a very honest and sweet movie about teenage and growing up. Jonah Hill, Michael Cera and Christopher Mintz-Plasse are perfect in their roles. I rarely give movies the perfect score and even more rarer for comedies but this is a 10/10.

I watched some episodes of norman wisdome,yesterday.I was laughing so hard...amazing.

Lots of obvious choices.

For some, it might come down to Cops And Robbersons vs. Ghost Dad.

Still, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang gave us a run for our money, didn't it? That one had almost everything-- comedy, cars, action/adventure, mystery, love. Not so much in the violence department, but there were some loud sounds, like stuff was broken.

Delirious isn't for kids, but it's supposed to be good.

For the rest, funny can mean anything with one of the Colemans, Dabney or Gary.
