Unfortunately, Clint did sing in another movie. Honkytonk Man, 1982.
While I liked the movie, I still want to know who told him he could sing.I remember going to that board on IMDb years ago and commenting on the singing. Talk about furious fans! I was told what I could do with my opinion!

They totally destroyed that environment to make a 'value the environment' movie...

They bulldozed the beach and planted invasive, non native plants...really trashed the place

Its kind of funny but its pretty sad too

I'm not saying that he was bad, the question was roles not suited to them. I just didn't think that he was best suited for this role. I also think that about The Aviator.

Sean Connery was good in Highlander. The only silly thing about it was that he was a Scotsman with a British accent playing a Spaniard. But he was still good in both Highlanders.

The post wasn't about it being a bad performance. At least I didn't think so. Just actors not suited for the role. So yeah, the accent wasn't really suited. I didn't think he was bad.
