Hey everyone, Jim here (founder of MovieChat). How's everyone doing?

It's been a year and a half since MovieChat was created, and in that short amount of time, we've become the leading destination to discuss movies online. For our longtime members, thank you for your continued loyalty and contributions to the site; for our new members, welcome to our community!

I, along with a small team and our volunteer moderators, continue to support the site, managing and maintaining things behind the scenes, and ensuring that MovieChat continues to be the leading destination to discuss movies online. We are excited about what the future holds and look forward to many more years of movie and entertainment discussion.

Congratulations Jim, but you need a lot of technical upgrades here, such as avatars, color and the ability to insert gifs,
among other things.

Oh wow there is a supreme being here!

I like that you imported (somehow) all of the IMDB threads that is cool. I would love to see more options here like a search function for example.

I like that the trolls have mostly been contained as well.

Jim, if you're still reading the notifications from this post:

What I think would be a great addition to the site is the option to be able to hide entire boards from popping up in the "Trending" and "Latest Posts" sections. That way I would never have to see Greta's face or any of the fake Star Wars boards, or The Karate Kid 3 board, or Trump Trump Trump Trump listed countless times every time I log-on.
But still be able to find them in search of the need ever arose. Thanks!! 😊😊😊😊
