I liked True Romance much better but Heathers was pretty good
And WTH happened to Slater?
Haven't seen him in ages and I thought he was pretty damn good

I thought Heathers was badly dated in light of all the school shootings. Things have changed since 1988.

I always thought of it as a pretty daring 'awful teens in high school' comedy

I’d have to watch True Romance again, it’s been awhile. Heathers is such a classic though. “Teenage suicide, don’t do it🎶 Teenage suicide, she blew it!” Good stuff.
The last time I remember seeing Christian Slater in anything (besides an Archer episode) was this movie called Ask Me Anything and he was having an affair with a very young girl. It was gross man, too old!

Slater plays a reporter in The Wife, 2018, an Oscar nominated film. He looks great.

Don’t really like either of them and so I have only seen them both once about 25 years ago.

Would go with Heathers though

Heathers gets my vote just because of the enjoyment I had when it came out. True Romance might be a better movie but it didn't have the same impact on my life. Plus Heathers has a musical.
