shareMary Tyler Moore show - I grew up watching the re-runs which came on just after family dinnertime
The Wire - although some seasons were stronger than others, the entire series is a masterpiece. So many great characters.
ER - loved that show. Don’t care for most of the more recent medical shows though. The Good Doctor is ok, but holds no candle to ER.
Frasier - the best of clever and funny in a sitcom. Watching the re-runs it still holds up but feels of its time.
Game of Thrones - 😢 still mourning the end of this one. So epic, so many moments of shock and triumph. What a ride it was.
Downton Abbey - was great up until they started killing off central characters. Then it got soapy, but still was good.
Frazier is one of those shows I rarely watched when it was originally airing but have caught every episode in reruns or netflix and it's fantastic. Clever and funny describe it perfectly.

Sopranos and Mad Men
On Broadcast TV -- whoo that's tough. I watched a lot of TV as a kid. So many great series. No one talks about Hill Street Blues these days. I really like Chicago PD, and I think it's a latter day HSB.
Then there's Saint Elsewhere, followed by Chicago Hope. Both much better, imo, than the more popular ER and Grey's A.
I binged Hill Street Blues some time ago, and yes it was an excellent show. Forgot about how good that was.
