What are you all listening to?

I've got Tom Petty going here
The guy was a boss!
You?

This song was fascinating when I was a kid. Up there with Fire ! and Spill the Wine.
I think it predates Funkadelic, but not James Brown so, here's the Jimmy Castor Bunch.
Forgive the visuals, that's not my thing, I didn't try too hard to find a different version.

Maybe the same thing but a little better, or more real, I guess.

Funky AND Funny
Couldn't make this music today

I loved the song when I was a kid, just because it was so weird and funny.
I'm really not so PC now that I'm freaked over it, but I did wonder if it seemed in poor taste to post it.
But eff it -- I hope no one involved in it is ashamed for making such a fun, funky and out there song.
The accompanying visuals kind of skew whatever message they may think lies within, but to me it's just a stupid, funny, rather inventive groove on some prehistoric silliness.

It's alarming to me how much some older entertainment would be seen as crude or offensive nowadays

This was clearly just good fun

They couldn't make Blazing Saddles or All In The Family now either...strange days buddy!

A track from a new purchase - classical music is always nice on a Sunday

Classical music is mostly very nice and, well, classy
I've failed to ever develop an ear for it though

I spent the evening listening to the soundtrack from A Bronx Tale, it's pretty solid too

I posted Love Is Only Sleeping a while back, which seemed well received.
Sweet Young Thing is an actual ear worm for me, so here goes.

Plus we get a vid that doesn't seem to distract from the actual song.

Here's another one that is country/pop. I don't usually like true country music unless i'm at a western type restaurant eating prime rib:) https://youtu.be/iraHxWPVZu4
