Too many Batman movies, sheesh

In my 35 years of life, there has been 7 batman movies. Now Joker is out and The Batman is coming 2021. Doesn't it seem excessive? Disney waited 80 years to re-make Dumbo.

Yeah... but if you only count the good ones they're few and far between.

I feel the same way about Spiderman. It seems relentless.
