Both original series ran from 1964-66. For me The Munsters was way funnier.

Team Addams!
Not only were the Addamses much weirder and funnier, they were based on New Yorker Magazine cartoons I loved (I have a book of Charles Addams cartoons at home), and the 90s movie "Addams Family Values" is one of my favorite all-time comedies.
The Munsters just dont compare.
Herman and grandpa were a great team.
