Both original series ran from 1964-66. For me The Munsters was way funnier.

My vote is The Addams Family. Their comedic timing is excellent and doesn't feel forced. The chemistry of the family is charming, both figuratively and literally.

The Munsters though could really play off the generational differences between each other. It's as if the older ones have the values of the home country they came from while the younger ones follow what's normal to them in the new place.
