There are tons of different categories of film and thus it is unfair to group all of them together. Here are some of my least favorite films for each major category:
Major blockbuster - Transformers 2
Indie film - Nature Unleashed: Tornado
Direct to DVD - A Spider’s Web: A Pig’s Tale
Internet - To Boldly Flee
Hotel New Hampshire - The story was crap, within an hour I was begging for it to be over and several times it seems like it is and it spools up more nonsense again
shareI'd be more inclined to nominate big budget even iconic films rather than small budget ones for the most part.
Ghostbusters 2016 would have to be up there. Bad jokes, bad premise, no chemistry between the cast.
Forrest Gump is another contender. A cynical money grab for a time where 60's nostalgia was huge.
Low Budget wise it would have to be American Warfighter. Looks like it was made by a group of friends in their spare time. Lead actor is meant to be a Navy SEAL but is too fat and doesn't even cut his hair.

shareDeath Race, just really over done action scenes where you can barely tell what’s happening and very head ache inducing.
shareOff the top of my head, I can't think of the worst, but it's probably a sequel. Something where the first one was brilliant and the second one was either forgettable or memorably bad. Maybe Mean Girls 2?
