I grew up in a kind of redneck area.

I am forgetting the name of the sports car, but if you had one, most girls would instantly sleep with you and no matter what you did you were still "okay" due to have having that kind of car.

Corvettes were also owned but by older guys and were equally powerful.

All of that struck me as extremely bizarre and horrible, lol.

Yep, count me as another who does not see it as a redneck car. Too expensive for most redneck types. Usually, a woman getting car driven by the very few white collar people in a small community that can be serviced by the local dealer.

Do yall still put the leaf springs in your sports cars over there ? or have you moved into the 20th centuary yet?
