Annoying speech

I hate it when people do "up talking", or when every other word in their speech is the word "like", for instance in "up talking" every other word sounds like it ends with a question mark.

Also so many people mispronounce Moscow. It's not Mos-COW, like the animal cow. It's pronounced Mos-COO!

Just thought I'd mention it.

What's truly annoying is when adults think they are being clever or funny by deliberately mispronouncing words. A prime example is, "It's lunchtime. I'm gonna go get a sammich." The word is SANDWICH!

Enough of this baby-talk. It may be cute when a toddler says it, but it gets old really fast when used by adults who should know better.

Sorry, you are wrong! I know some Russians and they have told me that it's pronounced Mos-COH.
News reporters pronounce it the same way.

Thank you. There’s a name for it. I hate it too. There’s an ad for Carvana running now and the spokeswoman up talks. It is annoying af.

Life is too short to worry about the way people speak. Pathetic.
