What's the longest you've gone without driving?

For me, after I got my license, maybe about two weeks when had Covid in December. I know for you guys who live in big cities like NYC or SF it's probably months or years maybe, but I know for us suburban folk I wonder how long some of you guys have gone...

I just beat my record.. I didn't drive a car (except to park for someone) when I spent 9 months in Australia, Asia, Europe, and DC.... I've gone about a year without driving.

I hate driving, and I hate being in a car.

In the 30 years I've been driving, I think the longest I've ever gone is two weeks. That was on holidays, although on several holidays I have driven.

4 Months when I was abroad in England. I really enjoyed not having to drive and taking the rails throughout the country. Such a beautiful country to walk around in too. I did get in a bind when traveling north visiting some Roman ruins one time. I thought the ruins were only a mile or two from the rail station, but found out that they were actually about 10 miles away. An older couple overheard my friend and I having this conversation and volunteered to drive us there. I was just shocked how kind these people were and couldn't thank them enough.

so i guess that would be 51 yrs, 3 months.

Two or three weeks on vacation and when I had my knee replaced, it was probably about 6 weeks.

Same here. My honeymoon was 3 weeks, in Europe, no cars.

I haven't driven a car in 13 years. I haven't owned a car in 24 years. Yes, mostly because I lived in NYC. When I moved away seven years ago I decided to maintain my no-car lifestyle.

Really, since I didn't even dare to try taking driving lessons...
I have to reply that I've lived my whole life without driving.
