Are there any lighthearted dramas around?

I've been a bit stressed and unfocused lately. Are there any good drama films with a sunnier side that you guys could recommend to relax? I think conventional comedies would be too hyperactive right now, too.

Emma (2020)

It doesn't get much more light-hearted and sunny than this.

I think light-hearted dramas are usually called "romances".

Does it have to be movies? If not, check out tv shows Psych or Life(the Damien Lewis show) or Upload

There are few films more magical than this. Soak up the beauty of Italy, and watch four women unfold like roses. They each learn to be more loving, and their affection transforms others. Mike Newell has directed a small masterpiece.

Give Mike Leigh's Happy-Go-Lucky a watch. It's really more of a comedy than a drama, but it's certainly got its fair share of messages and commentary on the human condition. It's probably the most unabashedly optimistic film made in the current century, and one that has been both loved and detested for it.

Definitely a good lifter upper of a movie if you ask me. Watch it if you want any and all cynicism inside you challenged.

happy go lucky is one of my favourite feel good films and one of my favourite films period.

& it's a great way of looking at life.

the first time i watched it, for the first fifteen minutes i thought 'i can't take much more of this relentlessly cheerful, maddeningly upbeat woman.'
by the end:
'i want more of this relentlessly cheerful, maddeningly upbeat woman!'
