My internet has been jinky all day today. I've lost count of the number of times my service has gone down. Usually it's for just a couple of minutes, though. Yep, it's annoying. I'm blaming it on the heat (we're in a run of 90+Β°F for a week) but I have no idea if that has anything to do with it. I just need something to blame. π€¦ββοΈπ€·ββοΈ

It may be a typo. I think she meant "hinky." From the Urban Dictionary:
hinky:
1. Strange, wrong weird
2. Something that is wrong or out of place
I first heard this on NCIS. The Abby character (Pauley Perrette) used to say it.
No, she meant "jinky". I discovered that it's something a Scooby Doo character says on a regular basis.
Recently I saw someone wearing a t shirt with that character and that quote.

Is your modem/router connected to the phone lines? Has it been windy in your area?
I had this problem every time there was wind. After six calls to CenturyLink's lousy customer service they finally sent a technician out to go up the pole and check the connection. He discovered that the inside of the box was all rusted, so every time a gust of wind caused the wire to sway it would lose contact with the terminal. He replaced some of the parts and I haven't had a problem since.
Perfect weather to watch tons of movies in theaters now, thank god! A new movie starring Pierce Brosnan is also releasing as well called The Misfits. It looks like a good film with tons of action, cannot wait!
