Coleman Classic Rechargeable Lantern - I like it. I am tired of buying batteries

I recently ordered myself a big beautiful landscape photo for the interior of my room. It should be really cool when I get it in the mail. By the way, I bought it here https://www.vershinin.biz/nature-landscape-photography-fine-art-gallery/ because I could not find any other normal sites where it could be done. And the choice was big, that for me was important.

All this mail-order stuff really has me wondering. I know someone who is an ardent liberal / progressive and she uses Amazon like her brother owns it. But I'm so frugal and essentially broke, I guess it's easy to tsk-tsk all this egregious packaging, and I would like to see the USPS as solvent as possible, so I guess on some level the activity is good.
But the stuff I hear going on at Amazon warehouses make it sound hellish and only a short term job to put up with. They actually want people to move on.

I am the most Progressive person I know, but I think Amazon is fantastic. It's not perfect, but what business, or American business is. I have had a long 20 year history with Amazon and I could not be happier.

Do I wish, and would I lobby for Amazon to increase their worker's pay and benefits ... yes. BUT, that should be a universal national thing, not some token just to get Amazon because a lot of nameless people who may be trolls or unhappy customers rip on Amazon.

I know well the criticisms of Amazon, and they are the same criticisms over most businesses - so solve the general problem and do not fuck up a great thing is my feeling.

A clock and a bathroom scale.
They are gifts for my mother on her birthday.

I wish I still went camping. Most people who are my age now drag trailers around with them but my favorite camping times were driving the car to some quiet spot (dispersed camping) and sleeping on an air mattress. But I no longer have camping pals and can't really afford to drive distances much so I just stay home.

Today I bought an electric toothbrush, and also a new set of hair clippers for shaving my head.

Be careful with the electric toothbrushes. A lot of them over time vibrate your teeth so much that they harm your teeth and loosen your dental work. Found that out the hard way. Now I use manual super-soft toothbrushes and oddly enough my teeth feel cleaner and it does not hurt to brush or floss.

Interesting. I'll have to do some research on that.

In the immediate short-term since yesterday, the thing seems amazing and I can't believe I didn't buy one years earlier.

They seem easier and you get that slippery - after you've been to the dentist - feel, but I think most of them are dangerous over a long period of time. I talking over 5 years. Good luck and happy smiles!

You know, you can buy rechargeable batteries that you can use in lots of other things and that last for years and years. A lot of these rechargeable devices with the proprietary or very expensive batteries don't work so great.

Just now bought and downloaded new 2021 mix Beatles - Let it Be

The Super Deluxe way too expensive and I don't care about alternate takes. I bought the "regular" one (just the 12 tracks from the album) in High Res 24-bit/96kHz

Farberware saucepan pot. Went around looking for cookware since the pandemic have been doing a to of my own cooking and really enjoying it. So much is crappy AND overpriced. The Farberware brand works great at a good price. Now I have 3 of them.
