Restaurant workers are one sector. I see "help wanted" and "now hiring" signs in the windows of many restaurants in my area. A few of them have closed their dining areas due to staff shortages, and are now doing business via meal delivery services or offer take-out only.

Okay, that's one sector. My guess would be that those folks found better jobs.

I think reassessment of life is the biggest one listed here. When faced with one's mortality, and the mortality of family and friends, a lot of people I know started to think "Is this gonna be it for me?"
