Brutal, but sad too. Just when you thought he was going to make it. That was one plot twist that really caught be by surprise.

Old Yeller - and no, I won't post a link because I would have to watch part of it, but you all know what scene that is.

Marley was tough to watch. Normally I'm good at avoiding this kind of thing, but I'm a fan of Owen Wilson.

Isnā€™t that odd because I cannot tolerate him or Nickolas Cage. They have the same mouth expressions.

Other than just one scene in a movie the movies I sobbed throughout were ā€œBlack Hawk Downā€ & ā€œTaking Chance.ā€ Both were gut wrenching! Iā€™ve watched ā€œTaking Chanceā€ 3 or 4 times and I still cry watching it. Another one which leaves me drained is ā€œWe Were Soldiersā€, true story as was ā€œBlack Hawk Downā€.

My Dog Skip

I watched this with my sons when they were kids. Had to muffle my sobs so they wouldn't think their father was soft.

It hit home for me because my childhood dog died after I left home for college. I felt tremendous guilt for not being there for him.

We do harbor guilt donā€™t we? Yet, we continue to bring more fur babies into our homes and hearts. Our beloved cur dog, the most loyal dog possible went to sleep outside my living room window while I was sitting in my chair insideā€¦on the other side. My husband had went to the store and came in crying. I ran outside to touch the old girl one last time. I told her I was sorry she went to sleep alone and like you felt guilt. When I thought about it she never laid down in that spot. She was always around the back of the house by the door we always used or on our carport. We never used the front door. It was as if she was trying to be near me. I have to stop. The tears are coming again.
