Popular songs you hate by bands you like.

Not necessarily hits, but the biggest songs the band is known for.

Strawberry Fields Forever - The Beatles
Start Me Up - The Rolling Stones
Love Will Year Us Apart - Joy Division
Disarm - Smashing Pumpkins
Breaking the Law - Judas Priest
Hey Joe - The Jimi Hendrix Experience
Come As You Are - Nirvana

reply

Blue Jay Way - The Beatles

reply

Not a fan of that either.

reply

You and I. We are now friends off.

David Bowie is my favorite artist. But I hate plenty of his American top 40 stuff:

Lets Dance
Under Pressure
Modern Love
Cat People
China Girl

He lost his rock cred when he pandered to the American audience.

reply

I stopped listening to his albums post-1980.

reply

"Scary Monsters" in 1980 was the last "real" Bowie album before he watered down his style, jumped the shark as they say.

reply

He became very ordinary I agree.

reply

Do you like the other songs on the lets dance album?

reply

No, Bowie went American top 40. I still believe he's the greatest rock artist ever for his 70's work. But his 80's albums don't do it for me. He watered down his style.

reply

reply

reply

Stairway to Heaven - Led Zeppelin
I Want To Hold Your Hand - The Beatles

cool scene in the movie tho https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kCBOtqcLz-w

reply

I think "We are the Champions" is worse.

reply

It's my life - Bon Jovi
Fire - Hendrix

reply

Not a fan of Bon Jovi, but I really hate "It's My Life."

reply

Man, I love "it's my life". Although nothing beats Bon Jovi's more classic songs.

reply

Vertigo -- U2

reply

I want to say "Lemon" but then I don't like U2. I just really especially hate that Lemon song.

reply

lol...Lemon was a great song.

Really? Give them credit for something.

I've always been very fond of it.

Ugh...still good pick Mustang.

reply

lol I just remember when it came out, the clip that chorus "Lemonnnnn"!

I'll given them credit for Sunday Bloody Sunday, not a bad song, even In the Name of Love. I think they should have stuck with that more stripped back rock sound.

reply

Do you like Desire, Bullet the Blue Sky, In God's Country, or Mysterious Ways?

reply

Didn't like Desire or Mysterious Ways. I have never heard Blue Sky or God's Country.
