I don't get the hype for Krispy Kreme donuts

I never did understand it. I rolled my eyes when hearing about the "lines around the block" when a Krispy Kreme opened near me.

We are finally getting one here this year, but I tried one about 20 years ago, and that was good enough for me. It's bad when a coke can cut the sweetness of a doughnut.

I don't either. I had them a couple times over the years, pretty good but nothing special.

They are very artificial tasting too and expensive. I can get a dozen cinnamon donuts at the grocery store for less than one of their sugary fake tasting ones.

I never liked them either, but Dunkin' Donuts went downhill about 15 years ago. Their current donuts are unrecognizable when compared with what they used to be.

Yep. Plenty of mom and pop bakeries making better donuts with cheaper prices.
