I know box office numbers are plummeting, cinema is dying, and everyone is streaming, but I imagine some regulars on this site are still avid movie-goers. Who all goes often? I suppose often is a relative term, but I guess once or twice a week or more is what I mean.

I hear complaints here all the time about the rude cinema-goers, and yet I've never experienced that. Where are all these rude people? I go really often, and never encounter anyone doing anything intrusive or rude at all.
Price-- get the discount packages. I have an Alamo membership, so I can see a movie for free every day for $20 a month. I have the Cinemark one too, which gives me a free ticket each month and various other rewards.
Home cinema and streaming is far, far from the actual theater experience. It's like comparing high school girls' basketball to the NBA.
I haven't gone in years, and probably only a handful of times in my entire life. I don't know anyone who even watches movies anymore. "I can't focus" (staring at their screen) while I'm at a point where nothing on my watch-list seems interesting.
shareI used to go once a week especially when I was a kid and during the summers as an adult. The rest of the time, I went frequently.
But yesterday was the first time I went since covid. Besides covid, most films have been crap, I don't like assigned seats, higher costs, some theaters closed in my area, I don't like meals being served.
I used to go once or twice a week, but things are so busy now that I struggle to manage once a month on the weekends. It's not even a money issue because I still have a booklet of free movie passes gifted during the 2019 holidays.
