No. You get paid what you can negotiate for.

The majority of actors are probably paid a lot less than you imagine them to be. According to a quick Google search, the median hourly pay for an actor is $20.26. And, of course, around 85% of actors are out of work at any given moment.
So: no.
Are major movie stars who get paid X million dollars per movie overpaid? Well... also, no. It's not as though the money Tom Cruise gets paid would otherwise be redistributed to the poor; it would just go into the pockets of executives who nobody went to Mission: Impossible to see.
I wouldn't pay them so much, but I don't run a production studio.
If they get what's agreed upon, it's fine.
