shareI also prefer "Middle Zep".. The Who's last couple albums with Keith were also weaker especially compared to Quadrophenia, Who's Next which seem to be Zep's height, too.
Zep I is too major chord-y but I do love the re-make of "Babe I'm Gonna Leave You" and Jimmy does add to it.

I don't think Zep ever made a truly bad song, or one that I outright hate.
Probably, the one album that has the most of my favorites is Physical Graffiti.😎
That and "Houses of the Holy" are probably my favorite. I remember listening to Physical Graffiti when I was 14 with a cousin during Thanksgiving like it was yesterday.
