Are there any recent performances in acting that have really impressed you?
The one that comes to my mind is Ncuti Gatwa (Sex Education, newest Dr. Who, I believe) in Masters of War. I had only seen him in Sex Education where he is so boisterous and expressive and then saw him in MOW and it was like watching a completely different actor and I really like it when that happens, too.
Oh, one other one was when Emma Stone portrayed different emotions in the scene in LA LA Land. That was so fascinating and proved to me that she is a very gifted actor.
