What do you honestly think of Elizabeth Taylor TALENT-wise?
I want to hear different opinions on this...
shareDear Littlesue---I'm so glad somebody remembers "Return Engagement." I recall how wonderfully pleased and surprised I was by that performance. I thought at the time--well, maybe this is the way she'll go. She WILL become an interesting character actress and stand by her assertions about plastic surgery, etc. It didn't turn out that way and I can't deny that I loved her return to stunning glamor--tho there were always inevitable fluctuations.
And yes, "RE" is the only film where she is actually "fat" rather than matronly or plump. But even in that one, the weight goes down as the film progresses. (And she managed to sneak in a couple Halstons into what was otherwise a sedate and attractive wardrobe.)
