Pierce Brosnan is not a Hollywood creep who married for status or to have a trophy wife who couldn't care less about him dangled off his arm. That is why he married his wife and is still by her side after all these years.

Seeing it from aside, it's weird as fuck. At the same time.... it would appear that he sees nothing wrong. In fact, they really do seem quite happy together on the spiritual and intellectual level. But yeah - when i first saw his wife, I was confused.
I just saw her pics of when she was young... I kinda get it. It may well be that he sees the younger version still - memory displaces the reality. Furthermore, since it really is most likely that she blew up after having kids, he may feel partially responsible for her current weight.
I do wonder what her mom looks like. Is it possible that it's just genetics doing its thing? Nope - just checked, her mom looks thin. Maybe her dad? Dunno....
Obviously he loves her unconditionally. Something for everyone to strive for.
I remember when they first got together. He spoke of how her love and friendship had saved him. He was so grateful to have found her. They’ve been together for a long time, and not just by Hollywood standards. That takes a lot of love and humanity to accomplish. And it requires a foundation that goes beyond mere body types.
Yeah, I'm just saying that him hooking up with a fat chick is a pretty unlikely scenario. I do get it, however, if she was not fat when they met - and she was beautiful, which she was. Fact is, in the early stages of a relationship, physical attraction does matter. Later on, of course, personality/character/deeper connection becomes way more important - and physical attraction no longer plays a big role in the relationship.
Probably because he’s straight and doesn’t require a beard.
