Is Jack Nicholson complicit in the rape assault since it took place in his house? What does he know? What has he done?

It was a longtime ago but if I remember he was a victim too. Polanski had drugged him as well and " did his thing" with Jack. I think its part of the reason that when a sequel to Chinatown was made, Polanski wasn't asked to direct. Jack directed it himself as a way of "getting back" at Polanski.

He was skiing in Colorado at the time so I don't think he is to blame. His then girlfriend Anjelica Huston returned to the home and apparently was suspicious and banged on the bedroom door but left when he said they were finishing their photo shoot. I don't blame her either, she may not have known what was going on, I don't think Polanski would have told anyone what was happening.
