I don't think he said anything. I think he was trying some PDA (like he was hoping to lean in and kiss her behind her neck or blow in her ear), and she called him out on it, which she should have.
shareI'm sure he went to this event just for his wife and it's possible he was having a hard time being around so much alcohol. Maybe he thought it would be easier for him but when faced with just sitting there around so much booze for hours, he was having an issue.
Whatever it was, he obviously was not happy or comfortable and maybe she was getting annoyed. We'll never know.
Oh yeah the drinking. He probably wanted to leave and she was like but you promised. Something like that.
