A. He's worth $60 million.
B. The armorer and assistant director will receive most of the blame. Maybe the imbecile who hired them, too.

C. He'll still have a career. After all, director John Landis was criminally negligent in killing Victor Morrow and two kids while making the Twilight Zone movie and it didn't hurt his career.

I'm not sure what being a creative thinker has to do with anything. But for the record, Baldwin came up with the Rust story along with another person.

In the film credits it has the director as also the only writer. I'm sure Baldwin seeing the script was the lead person in lets buy and make this movie though.
