Her death was largely ignored because of Michael Jackson.

Talk about stealing one's thunder. MJ did her dirty.

MJ did a woman? A fully grown woman? I'm gonna have to ask you to prove it!

mike was a dirty pedophiler!! Farrah Fawcett was a national treasure may she rest in peace!

reply

No, it wasnt.

reply

Umm yes it was. I remember.

First, the news and everyone was talking about Farah and then when MJ died, everyone turned attention to him. Nobody was paying attention to her anymore.

Farah was battling an illness, so her death wasn't as shocking but MJ was unexpected so it came as a huge shock. Not to mention, MJ was probably the most famous person in the would (no exaggeration), so naturally he carries more attention.

Is is worth mentioning that Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson passed away on the same day. June 25, 2009.

It wouldn't say "nobody was paying attention to her anymore". The media was certainly preoccupied with MJ.

However, Farrah's family members, friends, and many, many fans (me included) mourned her loss.

Princess Diana and Mother Teresa died around the same week, but the whole world was mourning Diana.

reply

Yes. I remember that vividly. Mother Teresa was a crook and a fraud.

reply

No.

Interesting coincidence.

reply

I think he may be involved with criminal activity.

Another example:
Groucho Marx died the day after Elvis Presley. Very few outlets carried the story because they were all talking about Elvis.
