Bingo, and thank you, chrisamon. "Rumor" and "reliable source" are pretty much mutually exclusive. This question probably comes too late, but are you a fan of McLaren Racing? It broke Bruce McLaren's heart when Chris Amon died. Chris was a great racing driver.

I kind of wonder what Aunt Jane would think about this? I mean, Jane Fonda was known back in the '80s for her side-hustle of being an aerobic tape queen. So I kind of figured that the Fonda women would be big on physical fitness and keeping in tip top shape. And heck, for a woman who is know in her 80s, Jane looks reasonably good. Jane herself, stepped out of the show business world like her niece (when she was married to Ted Turner) for about 15 years, but she didn't "let herself go" so drastically.

Less than 10 years. The OP's post is from 6 years ago (he apparently had inside information that turned out to be correct), so she was already obese in 2017. She was still thin and looking like her normal self in 2009 for sure, so that's 8 years or less (probably a lot less).

Was just about to cite the very same Daily Mail link (but was beaten to it) Whilst I sort of admire her for not succumbing to botox and plastic surgery and (at very least) being true to herself.....These recent pictures look nothing like her (facially) I wonder if they are fake?

I'm wondering the same thing.

The woman in these pictures has a very thin / no bottom lip. Bridget Fonda very definitely did. So yeah sure she could get portly (which I believe is the political correct term to use for a person of weightness) but her actual facial components surely couldn't change? (Not in the getting thinner direction anyway...)

I enjoyed her performance in Lake Placid.

She has let herself go but it is what it is. She does look older than her age as well oddly enough, was surprised from the pictures that she's just 58. But hey she hasn't acted in twenty years, what she looks like won't matter as she's not likely to make a comeback.

I don't like the paparazzi following celebrities around to snap pictures for people to mock them. There is no need for it.

R566 Bridget has a congenital heart disorder as well, a hole in her heart with some other defect in it, and it might have progressed. She disclosed this publicly a few times. The kind she has can get worse later in age and usually ends up requiring surgery. Those medications for it can cause weight gain and also the meds used to balance those. Especially if she's on other medications for say, her chronic back problems or thyroid or whichever. Drop it now!!!! This constant berating her on her weight and fucked up accusations and fat-shaming and fat blaming is sickening! Just...drop...it.

Who is to say maybe she already IS trying to get back in shape and/or her husband has actually been trying to help??? Are you people psychic or god? No. Drop it.

I don't think those photos are of Bridget Fonda. Yes, age ravages a lot of people, but you can almost always tell who it is. A good example is Kelly McGillis. Take a look at her now - totally different but you can still tell its her. There isn't anything in those recent BF photos that make me think its the real, actual, 1990s star Bridget Fonda.

I saw a picture recently that purported to be a television actress who is very slender, and the picture was of a quite fat woman on the beach taken from some distance. While being very skeptical, I also wondered why anyone might resort to this kind of subterfuge at all, much less a fairly small target on the celebrity landscape. But I'm also very naive.

I suppose there are a lot of bored people out there. This interested me because I was a big fan of Bridget in the 1990s. Then, for no apparent reason, she disappeared. By around 2015, it was like "Is she still alive?". I would be curious as to what she really does look like now.
