If we can call Jennifer Lopez "J. Lo", I don't see why Frances McDormand can't have a nickname of her own.

All jokes aside, Heavy D gave J.Lo. the nickname and she liked it, so she actually used it as the name of her album. Getting called something you don't like is frustrating, annoying, and really, really rude. So you might want to shoot Frances McDormand a tweet or something to see if she likes your nickname before you try to make it stick.

I was going to say that I really don't see how Frances McDormand and Heavy D can be friends.

She may have met him when he tried his hand at acting. He did do some TV before he passed. Stranger friendships have happened. Snoop and Martha anyone?
