- Prometheus (misunderstood restoration and extension of the Alien series)
- A Good Year (highly underrated: redifined the romcom, by centering it on a masculine character, rather than the nerdy dim-witted half-men than usually are portrayed in these). Also, elevated by shooting it in a cinmatic style, rather than the usual TV aesthetic...
- Blade Runner (modern sci-fi classic)
- Alien (the sci-fi/horro classic, unsurpassed by any of the sequels)
