The exquisite, gem like Madeleine Stowe...Unlike any other personality or Hollywood "beauty" in existence...How is it trollups of all sorts get the limelight and she remains in the shadows??? Can't imagine...

She was fabulous in "Blink" and equally winning in "The Last of The Mochican

Why she is so overlooked is completely and utterly beyond me...The woman is class personified...So many other "starlings" should step aside for her - PERIOD.

I'm always fascinated by the celebrities who grew up in the northeast L.A. neighborhoods I came from.

Among actresses there's Diane Keaton and Madeline Stowe.

A real stunner. I just saw 12 Monkeys for the first time last night and she was blazing hot in that mini-skirt!

Wow!

And of course she carried the role very well.

What I would like to know is why she is so underrated. My guess would be that she plays the supporting role in all of the movies she is most well known for. Look at all the actors she stars with: Daniel Day Lewis, Kevin Costner, Bruce Willis, John Travolta, Mel Gibson. All these guys are A-list people or close to. It is difficult to come up with a film that she takes the lead in.

Any thoughts?

Definitely underrated during her time...I'm she's making her mark at Revenge!
I'm really impressed by how she portrayed Victoria Grayson, I never knew she can do an antagonist role soooo effectively!! I'm used to seeing her as a very effective protagonist, damsel in distress characters like most of her movie roles.
