Josh Brolin has been my favorite actor since I was a little girl, watching "The Young Riders" with my Dad.

That being said, I never thought that Diane Lane and Josh Brolin looked like they were a happy couple at all. I think they posed a lot for the cameras, but when the paparazzi caught them in down moments, neither was smiling or actually even looking like they were together.

I also blame Diane a lot for the stigma that surrounds Brolin to this day. Both actors have said that the events of the night that Lane called the cops were blown out of proportion and that he didn't touch her (supposedly he punched a wall and they were both drunk at the time...) Yet, every time something good happens for Brolin, someone comes out and says "Well, he was a wife-beater." Minnie Driver, his first wife, Lane, and many friends have all defended him, saying it wasn't true. Yet the stigma remains.



I want you to remember my hand at your throat... the one man who beat you.
