Does anyone else hate this guy?

From the moment I first saw him, I didn't like him. I first saw him playing his own version of "The Architect" for some MTV Move Awards opening show (with a "Matrix: Reloaded" theme) in the very early 2000s, I didn't like him. He didn't like Neo constantly saying to him "You didn't answer my question," and he finally screamed at the guy to shut up and attacked him.

Every film I've seen him advertised in looked like dog crap, low-brow comedy, and I honestly never found him funny. I couldn't even get satisfaction out of seeing him "wrestling a cougar" in "Taledega Nights" because the cougar looked fake. A few of his films looked gross. Others just rubbed me the wrong way, simply because he was in them. How the hell does this guy keep getting movies made with him as the star?

The only time I could tolerate him on screen was when he played his own version of "Alex Trebek" in "Celebrity Jeopardy," and the guy playing Sean Connery was always snarking at him, getting the category titles wrong, and wanted to insult his mother many times. Now that was worth seeing.

Anyone else feel this way?

I like him as a serious actor, not a comedian. He's actually pretty good. When it comes to comedy, it's not that he is bad as a performer, as much as how bad the jokes are.

I do not like him at all

I've never been a fan, he's just not that funny. Only film of his that I've liked him in was Elf, and that was good mainly down to Jon Favreau and James Caan.
