Technically his music is brilliant. However it is too cerebral. I heard a DJ on the radio the other day tell us that he has never played an Eminem track in a club. I've never heard an Eminem song played in a club either.
shareHe doesn't make the sort of music that works in clubs. That would be 50 Cent. Eminem's music is more thoughtful and artistic (especially the early songs from MMLP)
shareYou know, I'd rather dance to rap music. L.L Cool J for example made a few songs that were thoughtful and artistic that you could dance to like Mama Said Knock You Out. I could think of a lot of rappers like that. Eminem is not the only rapper to have thoughtful artistic lyrics.
