There is literally zero reason to watch this film on an IMAX screen. There are like 3 action scenes. A shoot out near the beginning that includes images of the macabre in previous wars/conflicts, the sniper scene, and the white house siege. Otherwise, its a road trip across the east coast and camping scenes at night where the male character just gets drunk and the two women talk about journalism. I cant express how let down I was by this film. It commits my cardinal sin of a movie - making me check my watch to estimate how long is left. Lastly, before anyone slams my ass saying "stick to marvel movies" or something. I love A24 films. I just dislike the movie because it relies on a bait and switch trailer. If the trailer was truthful in that it was a road trip movie with journalists, I wouldnt have wasted 40 bucks to see it with my spouse.
