It feels extremely longer than it really is. Sitting through this dull movie was an absolute challenge because I felt it really didn’t get off the ground.
I don’t mind slow burn films like hereditary or midsummer, but damn this movie was boring.
Oh and lacked any balls the original had for pushing the envelope.
Meh... I liked the original back when I was an edgy teenager, but edgy doesn't have the same amount of punch nowadays. Who gives a shit about head twisting or pea spewing or cunt stabbing? Not me. The voice effects aren't even believable. The only fun part was watching their faces get all disfigured. Evil Dead was way better. Even the Evil Dead remake was better.

Never a good sign. If anything it should feel shorter. A movie that has you thinking afterwards 'That was never two hours already!' has done a good job.
