She charges fans $150 to take a picture

People sell autographs and photos on eBay. Some celebrities charge the going rate so to prevent people from making money off them. Often, they donate the cash. But not always. You could ask if they give the fee to charity next time and find out for sure
That she could give her amount to charity would not surprise. She has raised alot for charity over many years. Her particular one is the Starship. When she is on Xena she contributes part of her salary to Starship. I read a long time that she often has given her appearance fee for events to charity. I recall another time it was a convention she and Ren give the money from autographs to United Way(i think that was it). Much is listed on the Ausxip site. I do not think it is all there. She help start the fund for Kevin Smith and the Andy Whitfield family.

I do not presume to know her business now. But she has never appeared to me as greedy for money person. She has said a few times she gave most of her Xena money away.

I also read the agents work out the amounts. She does not do the conventions very often and think that could place the value higher than the actors that go to too many. She is not a "has been" and has a lot of popularity today.

Even if so, that she does not give anything from these amounts to charity, I agree with the person that said "either you want it or not." I don not mean disrespect but if a person does not have enough money that is the person's problem not the actor or actress. Move next on if you don't want to pay.
