That never occurred to me, but holy cow, you're right. That's so weird to think about.

After Anton Yelchin died, a buddy of mine pointed out that Old Chekov outlived Young Chekov, and I had the same head-shaking, "What?" reaction.

That thought has crossed my mind a few times since Norm passed.

Richards actually kicked heroine around 1980 IIRC though, so maybe it's not as surprising as people think that he's made it this long. He still kind of has that look to him, so I think people tend to think he still lives that way. He's one of those people who could give up the hard stuff and pull back on the drink without completely stopping.
