"Lady" doesn't count because he leased it out to Kenny Rogers who made it a hit but I also associate it with Lionel because it has his signature all over it.
I love all the songs mentioned.
But a big favorite for me was "Dancin on the Ceiling". I saw a show that listed the "worst" pop songs of all time. That song made the list. Guess I just have lousy taste. But it's such a fun upbeat song that always gets me dancing around the house...not on the ceiling but I wish I could.
I remember this song getting flack, as well as the video, for not being very original as there were already a few other hit Pop songs with similar themes on the airwaves. It's just a fun song, but you have to remember back then artists were actually critiqued at every level of their craft, unlike today where a Disney/Nickelodeon/Youtube/Idol "star" can have their banal voices remixed with computers so now critics just gave up and fantards took over. The music took a downturn because of this.

shareAfter living through the 80's and how overplayed his music was, I can't think of any of them as worth ever hearing again. Some artists were just played to death and he was one of them. Now his music could be great for use as torture to breakdown people by playing it over and over.
